Models from these companies that fit within our area of expertise (urban, touring and sport-road) are what we are likely to stock or special order and have the most knowledge about and experience with.

Hoopdriver Bicycles opened its doors to the cycling public on Saturday, April 25th 2009.

It's been a great first season! Our neighbours have been extremely supportive and welcoming and for that we are particularly grateful. As well, discerning customers from far and wide have been coming to see what's in store, what we can get, or what we can do for them. We've expanded our product lines significantly and will continue to do so.

It's been a very pleasant, though busy, six months.

Hoopdriver Bicycles is committed to providing bicycles, parts and accessories that are functional, smart, durable and attractive. We make a special effort to also source and stock unique products that are difficult to find elsewhere, and in some cases, are exclusive to Hoopdriver.

There are a number of special projects in the works here, some of which may take some time to realize, but will be worth the wait: stay in touch!

As well, we provide mechanical services ranging from small adjustments to full overhauls, hand-built wheels and complete assembly of custom bikes. What sets us apart is our friendliness and expertise.

Got a "weird tick coming from down there"? We'll try to diagnose and give estimates on the spot, based on your description and our observation, without condescension, techno babble or bad attitude.

Want a custom bike assembled, perhaps with a vintage frame of your own or some cool old parts? There are a multitude of considerations! We have both the technical knowledge and the design sense to make it happen. Again - allowing you to actually enjoy the experience. See our custom builds gallery

In short: our service is based on care and attention to detail, integrity, honesty and value.

Please feel free to call for prices and details. Note that, though our prices are competitive, we aren't interested in competing solely on price, particularly with discount mail order sources. We provide a much deeper level of service than is available from long distance (and even some local) sources, with corresponding expenses. We sincerely hope you will buy local, even if it's not from us in the end.
